The 34-year-old, who was on the second series of The X Factor in 2005 as part of girl group Addictiv Ladies, is the 12th confirmed name for the upcoming series.
Host of the Hits Radio Breakfast show, Fleur East has been named as the twelfth contestant taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
The 34-year-old said her late father would be ‘watching over the ballroom in spirit'.
"I’m equally nervous and thrilled to be part of this year’s Strictly line up."
